MISSING IN ACTION!

I missed being with all of you this past week.
It has not been a good week around the island.

I have been dealing with medication allergies, and the
death of a sweet friend.

Ava was a typical southern lady. She was kind, sweet, a little sassy, to go along with her red hair, and a faithful friend. I miss her, however she hasn't been Ava for a while. She suffered from Parkinson's Disease for quite a long time. Ava is at peace with our Saviour now. Please pray for that same peace for her family.

My Daughter and I are leaving this morning for an eleven day trip. Papa will be holding down the home front.
I am usually very excited to be traveling but for some reason I am having a hard time working myself up for this one. I am sure when I see my daughter's face everything will be great.

I will be back home on the twenty-fourth. I hope to have some great pics of Quebec City, St. Lawrence Seaway,  Nova Scotia and our eastern seaboard.
I will miss you guys, behave until I get back out there.
Pray for us also.
Hugs, Ginger

An awful side effect of aging is the loss of loved ones. The upside is the beginning of new life. I'm sorry to hear of your loss Ginger. Take care.

You have a wonderful time, my friend. We did that trip last year & had tons of fun. Quebec City is wonderful, especially in the Fall.

Dearest Ginger,

Oh, I'd figured there must have been some health issues as you are way too spunky otherwise for keeping quiet that long. Don't worry, be happy and enjoy your trip with your daughter. So glad you get to see Québec City too.
We'll hear from you when you get back.

Love to you,

Mariette

Oh honey, I'm so sorry for your loss, to lose a good friend must be so sad, I lost one a few months ago, she was fron NY also and when I came here in 1975 she was like a mother, so welcoming, warm and helpful, but that's life she battled cancer like a trooper, so she's resting now. Have a wonderful trip with your daughter, you'll see, you need this you're sad. God bless you my dear. Love,

It is sad to lose a loved one, but we should remember they are at peace noww. I know how you feel about not getting excited about leaving home. These days I have to make myself get out, but I usually enjoy it very much when I do make the effort.
